The annual membership and board of directors meetings are scheduled at the time and location below. The purpose of the meeting will be to elect directors and approve new ACC guidelines.

First, a huge thank you to our neighbor George who graciously volunteers his time to pick up litter from the common areas of our community and along Van Dyke Rd!!

George should not be in this alone, let’s all do our part to limit the litter that is being seen more and more in our neighborhood. The trash is unsightly and ultimately ends up in a wooded area or one of the lakes and impacts our wildlife.

Here are some tips:

• Don’t throw litter out of your car and encourage your driving age children to do the same.
• Ensure all trash is placed into a bag and then into your trash bin. This will help keep any loose bits from flying out when the trash truck dumps the bin.
• Recycling should be placed in the bin loose so try to put light weight recyclables under heavier ones to help keep any loose bits from flying out when the recycling truck dumps the bin.
• Pick up the weekly news papers that are delivered to your home. There is an opt out for the LakerLutz paper on their website if you don’t want to receive it – https://lakerlutznews.com/circulation-request/
• If you walk or bike the neighborhood, use one walk a week to safely pick up one piece of trash. Any little bit helps.
• Use the litter bags provided to clean up after your pets and dispose of the bag in your trash bin at home.
